IMAGE MASKING

Image masking, is the technique we use, when clipping path is no longer an option. When the subject that needs to be selected has so much detail, such as fur or hair, clipping path becomes very hard to use. In these cases, a technique called Image Masking service is brought into play. Clipping mask, Photoshop mask, image masking, channel masking, alpha masking, layer masking and transparency masking are some of the variations or specialties of this image masking service.

OUR MASKING OR CLIPPING MASK SERVICES:
  • Alpha Channel Masking

  • Advanced or Complex Layer Masking(Hair masking & Fur masking)

  • Photoshop Transparency Masking

  • Translucent Image Masking

  • Photoshop College Masking

Layer masking:

Clipping Path involves mainly with a graphic designer, drawing around the image to select the needed segment of the image. Image masking service is significantly less destructive. A designer would only have to color over a needed region, to make a selection and then use it as required. This also gives more freedom the designer, to work his/her magic.

The main advantage in using Layer Masking, is that if and when required, the changes done, can be undone. With no permanent changes made to the image, an image can be brought back to its initial look, with minimal effort.

Channel masking A.K.A Alpha Masking:

This technique deals with making masks, with assistance of colors. Most images use one of 2 color combinations. RGB – Red Green Blue CMYK – Cyan Magenta Yellow Key Color (Black)

The advantage of using Alpha Masking, is that the designer would be in a position to select a single color tone and then apply a mask based on that. This is extremely useful in situations where colors look similar or not so clear. For example, making a selection of smoke can be done easily using this Alpha masking or channel masking method.

Transparency Masking:

Using a slightly different approach to selecting the subjects of an image, instead of selecting the subject, this technique moves to remove the background. This transparency masking technique is excellent to use when you want to use your subject, on a different background.

Clients most often go for this, when they need to select a person or product, without the background.

Our team comprises of designers who are nothing short of experts in image selections.. With an eye for detail and a knack for using the right tools, they’ll ensure that your image is nothing short of perfect!
